The descendants of Santo and Peppina Caliguire, Italian immigrants who settled in the lower east side of St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1916, realized they had a treasure trove of family history in narratives, photos, geneology, and even family recipes. As the family grows and scatters, a few decided that it was time to put the family’s history between the covers of a book so that future descendants would know their past—and keep bringing family dishes to weddings and graduations! X-Presso helped them arrange their material and publish several hundred copies of the book at a price the family could afford.
